API Improvements: File Metadata, Recent Files and Error Handling Kloudless Published: August 20, 2014 File metadata now contains information on the file’s parent folder for select services. You can traverse up the filesystem tree as well as down it. Also, a “mime_type” attribute has been added to file metadata that specifies the file’s content type. This is useful to identify file types for files without extensions.Information about recently modified OneDrive Files is now available for recently modified files. This supplements recent files information for Dropbox, Box and Google Drive.File downloads now contain Last-Modified and Cache-Control headers to avoid repeated downloads of a file linked to via Kloudless if the file hasn’t changed. This caching improves page load time when Kloudless links are directly embedded into web pages as images, audio or visual media resources.API errors have been overhauled and follow a new, more descriptive format.
